Work on our project is progressing well, despite the poor weather we have all experienced over the autumn and winter.

From 10 September 2025, we began “cut and fill” works involving pulverised fuel ash, the waste material left over from the power station.

This involves carefully moving and reshaping material within the site to prepare the ground for the next phase of construction.

These works have been completed and were carried out in line with all relevant environmental and safety regulations.
